Production Manager £55,000 – £65,000 Stroud A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager for a company in the Stroud area. With no day ever being the same the Production Manager role offers an opportunity to perform as part of the senior leadership team and offers career development within a first-class organisation. Key Responsibilities * Plan and schedule production to meet delivery and quality targets. * Oversee daily shop floor operations including fabrication, machining and assembly. * Manage and develop production teams and supervisors. * Monitor productivity, identify issues and implement improvements. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. * Maintain safe working practices and ensure regulatory compliance. * Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, procurement and planning teams. * Control production costs and optimise use of materials, labour and equipment. Key Skills * Strong understanding of heavy engineering and manufacturing processes. * Production planning and process improvement. * Team leadership and people management. * Problem solving and operational decision making. * Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods. * Cost control and efficiency management. * Experience with ERP/MRP production systems. * Good communication and cross-functional coordination Package * £55,000 – £65,000 * Monday – Friday * Profit Related Bonus If you are interested in this position please click \’apply\’.
