Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency and quality
- Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Support the introduction of new products into production
- Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision‑making
- Provide video analysis of best working practices, analysis that operators on the shop floor can follow and adhere too.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field would be a bonus.
- Proven experience working as a Production / Manufacturing / Process Engineer in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques
- Ability to provide training and development for operators on the shop floor, input working practices to be followed and adhered too.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
