Great opportunity to join an industry leading company based near Dawlish, Devon.

You will be joining a small, high performing design team working on a variety of projects within the Furniture industry.

The Role:

• Designing products that are highly commercial , and designed for volume sales, typically upholstered beds, Cabinets and chairs.
• Creating final visuals for both in house and customer presentation
• Design & Development through sketching and CAD modelling and rendering
• Travel to customer sites – biggest client is in high wycombe – 1x per quarter but they travel as a team.
• Hold product presentations online, as a lot of customers are up north.
• Clear and pricise communications via emails, Teams, etc between factories, colleagues & customers.

The Person:

• High level of creativity and visual communication skills
• BSc in Product Design or similar
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D SolidWorks or similar
• Some knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Huge attention to detail, and meticulous working practices
• Knowledge of Photoshop would be great
