A well-established and growing environmental services business is looking to add an experienced service engineer to cover their regional East of England patch (no national travel & constant stayaways). This role is primarily focused along the A1 corridor. You will be joining a team of 20+ Service Engineers, supporting a wide range of customers across multiple industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who has experience working on compactors and balers, or similar Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic equipment. You will be exposed to a variety of machine types, manufacturers, and customer environments, making this a varied and rewarding field-based position.

The Role

  • Service, maintenance and repair of compactors and balers
  • Fault finding and breakdown response across customer sites
  • Planned preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Working on a wide range of equipment and machine types
  • Covering a regional patch across the East of England

The Candidate

  • Previous experience working on compactors and/or balers is desirable
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills

Package

  • £38,000 - £39,000 basic salary
  • 40-hour week
  • Regional travel only
  • Overtime available
  • Realistic OTE of £45,000
  • Ongoing support from a large, experienced engineering team
