This is an extremely rare opportunity to work for a global group's flagship manufacturing site. The business is looking for an experienced Engineer with specialist experience in Industrial Process Control and Instrumentation to support the ongoing development of a very successful R&D and manufacturing function. Not only does this position present long term job security, but ongoing development and career progression.
Role Description- Create and enhance process control systems from concept through to implementation.
- Work across SCADA development, PLC programming, and advanced control techniques from PID loops to AI and machine learning.
- Develop and implement inspection systems and instruments to maintain top-tier product and process quality.
- Partner with R&D and production teams to identify and deliver process improvements safely and effectively.
- Provide both on-site and remote technical support, while upgrading and maintaining existing systems.
- Be open to occasional overseas travel as part of your role.
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and innovations in process control.
- A degree in a relevant engineering subject.
- Excellent experience with industrial process control and instrumentation.
- Proven expertise with electrical and electronic design.
- Project Management experience, including budgets, deadlines and stakeholder management.
