Our client designs hygiene contained rooms, based in Thetford. They are looking to bring in a new member of their team to join their team of Design Engineers and assist with day-to-day operations.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Create detailed Revit/BIM models for modular and steel framed building designs
- Design integrated MEP systems, including HVAC, ductwork, piping, and electrical layouts
- Develop coordinated design solutions across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural elements
- Produce high-quality technical drawings, layouts, and supporting documentation
- Manage multiple design projects, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency throughout
- Refine and validate designs through site surveys, 3D scanning, and collaboration with contractors
About You:
- 3+ years experience using Revit within a BIM environment
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
- Able to read and produce detailed HVAC and MEP schematics
- Experience designing and coordinating building services layouts
- Strong technical drawing and 3D modelling skills
- Detail-focused with a high standard of work
