Nights Based Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Rochdale, £55,000. Working hours: Mon - Thur (22:00 - 06:00), Fri (18:00 - 00:00).

Due to a recent retirement, a manufacturing business in Rochdale is looking for a Night Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be carrying out maintenance and fault finding on:

  • PLC's
  • Machine control systems
  • Inverters
  • Drives
  • Mechanical systems

Due to the 24hr manufacturing operation, there will be some reactive maintenance for breakdowns, as well as scheduled activities to carry out.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship background
  • Additional electrical qualifications are desirable
  • Strong skills in control system fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Happy to work night shifts permanently
