Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the engineering team by carrying out systematic tasks and continuous improvements to plant and machinery to improve existing manufacturing processes.
- Use initiative to identify areas that will improve the production performance, line utilisation and focus on reducing scrap levels.
- Provide maintenance support regarding projects.
- Work on a large variety of equipment including gear boxes, pumps, motors, bearings, drives, inverters, relays, sensors, conveyor systems and PLC's.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Multi‑skilled engineer – ideally electrical bias but will consider mechanical bias (60:40 split).
- Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3.
- Worked within manufacturing.
- Strong problem‑solving/fault‑finding ability and experience.
