Technical Skills
- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of mobile plant equipment.
- Fault diagnosis and repair on:
- Forklift trucks
- Loading shovels
- Commercial vehicles
- Other mobile machinery
- Strong experience with:
- Hydraulic systems (particularly fault-finding)
- Diesel engines
- Electrical systems
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repair experience.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in:
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Plant Maintenance
- Mechanical Engineering
- Or a related discipline
- A completed apprenticeship is preferred but not always essential if experience is strong.
