Material Handler in Middlewich, Cheshire
Monday to Friday - Days, no nights
Β£26,900 rising after 6 months + Overtime available at premium rates

Due to an increase in market share and investment, a global Manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler to join their Supply Chain Team at a growing site that is being invested in continually. This opportunity offers great security and stability in the current economic climate, with progressive training and development whilst being supported by a friendly and welcoming team.
Role Description- Responsible for maintaining standards of Housekeeping and Hygiene
- To offload inbound deliveries, check quantity and quality of incoming supplies against the supplier delivery note
- Ensure the external storage of polymer is neat and safely stocked
- Ensure the inbound deliveries conform to the business requirements ensuring any contamination, damages or unsafe loads are reported to the inventory controller/s
- To ensure the correct storage of pallets and effective pallet distribution
- To assist the inventory controller with stock rotation
- To load and unload machine parts for the maintenance department as required
- To pick stock and assemble loads in the designated load area
- Identifies opportunities to improve operational performance
- Adheres at all times to safe operating procedures and ensures area of responsibility remains hazard free as far as is reasonably practicable
- Dependability - Takes personal ownership of all aspects of the job role. Delivers on KPI's and objectives
