A global manufacturing leader is expanding and seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join their team at a cuttingâ edge production facility. The position involves assembling, testing, and commissioning highâ value capital machinery. Candidates should bring solid experience from a manufacturing or assembly environment. This role provides strong opportunities for technical growth and offers clear pathways for career progression.
Role Description
* Assist the production team in building machinery to specification
* Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
* Ensure that production targets are met safely and efficiently within the working environment
* Work cross functionally with design and technical teams, on build issues, to produce a superior product.
* Actively assist in continuous improvement and standardisation projects and processes
* Take part in working on customer sites abroad, assisting with the assembly, test, and commissioning of new machinery
Skills and Qualifications
* Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering – Time served
* Has experience of using Mechanical Engineering processes in assembly and fitting
* Strong experience working in a manufacturing/assembly environment
* Has experience of working to engineering drawings
* Experience working in a customer facing role is preferred
