Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that\βs quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2025 they are looking for a Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Leading mechanical design, development and prototype of new projects. Product improvement assignments
- Design of products using SolidWorks, DFMA requirements, maintaining technical compatibility
- Carry out FMEA studies on designs and prototypes
- Completion of test documentation, compliance reports, new product development test summaries
- Considering new components, materials and technologies to evaluate functionality
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering Degree
- Strong attention to detail
- Working with SolidWorks design packages
