This is a great opportunity for an experienced and ambitious mechanically minded technician to join a well-established company, who are now going through a period of expansion. You will be working the double days shift and have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks and improve your skills, working closely with the Electrical teams.
The Role:
- Carry out the mechanical assembly of advanced technology products.
- Contribute to creating and updating documentation that supports Lean manufacturing practices.
- Adhere to all requirements outlined in the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Complete assigned tasks effectively while keeping the Team Leader informed of any material shortages, technical challenges, and actions taken to minimize disruption to production timelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
The Candidate:
- Previous mechanical fitting experience.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Ability to fault find and implement corrective action.
- Happy working shifts.
