Company Overview:
We are supporting a well-established manufacturing site in the Malvern area. The business is looking to grow their Engineering team with a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to keep operations running smoothly and support ongoing site improvements. This is a practical, workshop-based role with plenty of variety, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work in a busy production environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs across all site equipment
- Carry out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance to maximise uptime
- Assist with small subprojects, such as equipment modifications or upgrades
- Read and work from technical documentation, including P&IDs, blueprints, and drawings, and liaise with contractors when required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience with practical problem-solving skills
- Welding (MIG/TIG), pipefitting, and general workshop engineering experience
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering/instrumentation, or apprentice-trained
- Desirable: experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or process machinery
