A Cardiff based, international business are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join a growing team. This business excel in their field and their product has a genuine impact on the end user. The role is well suited to an engineer coming who is looking to get off nights and work on a 2 shift basis.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve minimum downtime on machinery, equipment and / or tooling to allow the Operational side of the business to function efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete all buildings Maintenance as and when required.
  • Implement changes to machinery, equipment and / or tooling as required to improve company efficiencies.
  • Support members of the Maintenance & Production Departments to ensure optimum performance of the Maintenance Team and manufacturing facility.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in both the Maintenance Department and any site activities.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers where necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Substantial experience in a Maintenance position.
  • Experience within Manufacturing.
  • Qualified to work on electrical circuits.
  • Competent to work with mechanical components, pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Knowledge of Omron and Mitsubishi PLC.
  • Extensive experience working with automated machinery.
