Role Overview
- Install, commission, service and maintain a range of specialist production equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical and pneumatic faults.
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs at customer sites.
- Complete service reports and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous field service experience working on automated or packaging-related machinery.
- Apprentice-trained engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Strong communication skills and professional customer-facing approach.
- Positive work ethic with a willingness to travel and stay away when required.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with filling, capping, conveying, bagging or cartoning equipment.
- Mechanical, pneumatic or automation experience.
- Experience commissioning new machinery.
- Exposure to manufacturing or production environments.
- Relevant engineering qualifications.
Work Location
- Home-based field service position.
- Ideally located in the midlands region with UK-wide customer coverage.
- Mix of installations, servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown support.
- Regular travel and overnight stays required as part of the role.
