Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Creating lead end-to-end diagnostics programmes, covering strategy definition, development, validation, release, maintenance and technical support.
  • Provide specialist expertise in electrical, electronic, EV and high-voltage systems, performing investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle, leading technical workshops, reviews, progress meetings and stakeholder reporting.
  • Oversee project delivery, including scope, timing, cost, risk management, supplier coordination and achievement of key programme milestones.
  • Drive continuous improvement and business growth through data analysis, proposal development, opportunity identification, resource planning and mentoring engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Extensive engineering background with proven experience delivering diagnostic development projects within OEM, Tier 1 or retailer/dealer environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical and electronic architectures, diagnostics standards (UDS, ODX, OTX, DoIP) and communication networks including CAN, CAN FD, LIN and Ethernet.
  • Demonstrated leadership in customer-facing roles, managing projects from concept through release, alongside supplier, stakeholder and solution development responsibilities.
  • Skilled in electrical fault diagnosis, root cause investigation, retailer diagnostic systems, technical reporting.
  • Additional strengths include practical testing and validation, use of industry tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer and INCA, plus structured problem-solving methodologies including Six Sigma and DMAIC.
