Role Description - What you will be doing Complete planned and reactive maintenance to maximise OEE, reduce downtime and improve machinery performance Carry out electrical testing, fault-finding and safe isolation, with safety paramount at all times Use CMMS systems to record, plan and manage maintenance activity Work collaboratively as part of a four-person engineering team and communicate effectively with production and other key stakeholders Maintain the highest health and safety standards and safe working practices Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the team to implement them Maintain mixers, valves, reactors and other mechanical equipment Support improvement projectsSkills and qualifications required: Time-served engineering apprenticeship At least three years of hands-on engineering experience after completing the apprenticeship Experience within food manufacturing or food production Either an electrical or mechanical bias will be considered A good understanding of electrical testing, fault-finding and safe working practices Comfortable using CMMS systems; experience with the company's specific system is not required A strong team player, comfortable working within a four-person engineering team Ability to work independently when required Willingness to undertake internal training and continue developing as an engineer Company Information Both Hunter Selection & our client strive to build an inclusive work environment for all and will consider all candidates without regard to gender, including gender identity, gender expression and gender reassignment, race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, marital or civil partnership status, disability, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy or maternity or trade union membership.
