IT Service Desk Technician – Gloucester (on site and must be able to drive) – £30k – £33k
I\’m seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Technician for a public sector organisation based in Gloucestershire.
You\’ll be supporting internal users on a range 2nd line technical issues, ranging across hardware, software and other services. You\’ll be working alongside an established team, within an ITIL environment, dealing with users face to face, remotely and occasional walk ins.
Must be eligable to apply for SC/ NPPV3/DV Clearance.
Key Responsibilities for the IT Service Desk Technician:
- Working through technical issues related to desktop, laptop, network, and application issues.
- Providing 2nd line support to internal users via telephone, self-service portal, emails, and in-person walk-ups.
- Support users with Microsoft Office 2016/365, Windows 10/11, Outlook, SharePoint, and other Microsoft tools.
- Experience with Intune or SCCM
- Experence with Active Directory
- Loging and managing tickets in the businesses ITSM
- Working with escalation points in line with agreed service levels.
- Visit user desks or remote offices when required to provide on-site support
- Maintain accurate asset and configuration records.
- Understanding of ITIL processes
- Experience with ITSM tools.
- Excellent communication skills
