An excellent opportunity has become available for a driven and forward-thinking IT professional to lead the IT function within a long-established, multi-site manufacturing organisation. With decades of industry heritage and a global product portfolio, the business is seeking an experienced IT Manager with a proven ability to lead teams, enhance systems, and implement robust processes that support continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, strengthening infrastructure, and optimising IT performance across all sites. The position requires travel between three locations, each within approximately 30-40 minutes of one another.
Role Description- Lead and develop the IT team through structured training plans, coaching, and ongoing professional support.
- Deliver high-quality IT support across all business functions, ensuring a responsive and customer-focused service.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimisation of all hardware and software, ensuring systems are regularly updated, secure, and fit for purpose.
- Ensure all IT systems and networks operate in full alignment with Data Protection and GDPR requirements, maintaining robust compliance across the organisation.
- Identify and drive improvements in company-wide processes, implementing enhancements that strengthen efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with customers' IT teams to maintain secure, reliable, and accurate e-trading connections and integrations.
- Formal qualifications in Information Technology.
- Strong leadership skillset and experience - team and process management across a companywide role.
- Excellent training skills in new applications.
- Strong practical database knowledge.
