A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business in Hereford.
This role provides variety, career growth, and the chance to work with precision components in a dynamic production environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate injection moulding equipment of various sizes
* Adjust machines, automation systems, and supporting equipment for production
* Load materials, carry out tool changes, and perform basic machine maintenance
* Identify and resolve product defects such as flash, warping, or surface imperfections
* Collaborate with Quality colleagues to ensure consistent product standards
* Keep accurate production records and follow operational procedures
* Promote and maintain a safe working environment (training provided)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Hands-on experience with injection moulding or relevant engineering background
* Able to manage multiple products and resolve quality issues efficiently
* Comfortable working with technical components and tight tolerances
* IMT qualification is desirable
* Basic IT skills for production records and reporting
