Are you an experienced Hygiene professional ready to take ownership of food safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are looking for a Hygiene Manager to join a leading FMCG business in Gloucester, where you will play a critical role in driving hygiene excellence, ensuring compliance, and leading continuous improvement across the site.
The Role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will take full responsibility for all hygiene-related activities on site, ensuring food safety standards are met and continuously improved. You will lead a team of Hygiene Technicians and work closely with multiple departments to embed a strong hygiene culture. This is a highly influential role with real visibility across the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve hygiene protocols in line with food safety regulations
- Ensure all hygiene critical control points are managed using HACCP principles
- Deliver training and drive consistent hygiene standards across the site
- Lead internal and external audits, maintaining compliance with FSSC/BRC standards
- Own cleaning
