As an Instrumentation & Calibration Engineer your core role & responsibilities are:
- Responsible for supporting all PPM and reactive calibration, maintenance and fault finding on site instrumentation & control systems
- Calibration temperature, humidity, pressure, flow & speed instrumentation
- Use of Maximo CMMS systems
- Dealing with HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, utilities & cold rooms
- Maintain calibration equipment, make sure certification is current & traceable
Knowledge, skills & experience required to be an Instrumentation & Calibration Engineer in the team:
- Experienced within instrumentation, calibration or controls
- Previously have worked in manufacturing, utilities, chemicals, water or oil & gas
- Worked on BMS systems, HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, cold rooms
- Level 3 qualified or higher in engineering - ideally apprenticeship trained
- Must be able to do instrumentation calibration - temperature, flow, speed & humidity
- Ideally have worked to ATEX, GMP standards
- Good computer skills - use of CMMS systems
- Experienced with water systems, sensors, flowmeters, gas analysers - beneficial
- Knowledge of control systems & PLC programming - desirable
