The Electrical Service Engineer is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of H nel automated storage systems, with a strong focus on electrical systems, controls, and fault-finding. This is a field-based role covering the Basingstoke, Portsmouth, and Crawley area, working independently at customer sites to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and in compliance with current electrical regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical inspections on H nel automated storage systems in line with current regulations.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance, annual servicing, and electrical repairs on H nel units.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical and control system faults, including wiring, sensors, motors, and PLC-related issues.
  • Support and implement system upgrades, including electrical modifications and software updates.
  • Assist with the installation, wiring, and commissioning of new systems at customer sites.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, prioritising electrical fault resolution.
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards and health.
