About You:

A capable engineer with a solid background in mechanical and electrical maintenance. You enjoy problem-solving, enhancing processes, and keeping production running seamlessly. You have:

  • Proven experience as a multiskilled maintenance engineer or technician
  • Strong mechanical engineering knowledge, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Electrical maintenance skills: fault-finding, single/three-phase work, component repair/replacement
  • 3 years in automotive or a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Welding ability (MIG/TIG/ARC) - highly desirable
  • Robotics and/or PLC fault-finding knowledge - highly desirable
  • Sharp analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A recognised engineering qualification

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electromechanical machinery
  • Reducing downtime through effective fault-finding and rapid response
  • Using Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement tools to enhance machine performance and reliability
  • Applying LEAN principles in line with the company's culture of efficiency and operational excellence
  • Maintaining strict compliance with Health & Safety standards
  • Actively engaging in ongoing training and development
