I am working with a leading business to recruit an experienced Global Head of HSE to analyze data and implement strategy across existing and new sites both in the UK and abroad. Are you up for the challenge?
Roles/Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and lead the Group Health, Safety and Environmental strategy across UK, European, and global operations, aligned to business growth and operational objectives.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction to HSE teams across multiple sites, with autonomy to shape team structure and capability.
- Oversee risk management, legal compliance, auditing, and assurance processes, driving continuous improvement and consistent standards across the group.
- Champion a strong HSE culture and wellbeing agenda, embedding proactive safety, health, and mental wellbeing initiatives across all locations.
- Analyse HSE data and performance metrics to deliver actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making at senior leadership level.
- An innovative, energetic HSE leader with clear career progression, ambition, and a track record of driving change rather than maintaining the status quo.
- Background in FMCG, fresh produce processing, manufacturing, or food retail environments, ideally within fast-paced, high-volume operations.
- Strong knowledge of UK and EU HSE legislation, with NEBOSH qualification.
- Demonstrable success in delivering measurable safety improvements through leadership, engagement, and data-led decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic capability, with the confidence to influence at senior and operational levels.
