We're partnering with a niche and ambitious manufacturing business in Bridgwater who are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller who can play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision‑making. The Position

  • Produce accurate monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines
  • Deliver weekly and monthly financial performance reporting to senior management
  • Maintain full control of P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reporting
  • Produce rolling financial forecasts and cashflow projections
  • Monitor company profitability by customer, project, and production area
  • Own and manage annual budgeting processes
  • Monitor BOM costing accuracy and inventory valuation

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
  • Strong manufacturing or engineering sector experience
  • Advanced budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong cashflow management experience
  • Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO‑regulated environments
  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification
