Salary: Β£35,000 - Β£40,000 per annum
On-Target Earnings (OTE): Β£50,000 - Β£60,000 + Door-to-Door paid travel + industry leading equipment
Are you a skilled Service Technician with a strong mechanical background? Do you enjoy working on a variety of equipment and delivering high-quality service? We are recruiting for proactive and experienced technicians to join a market-leading service team supporting commercial clients with fault-finding & repair, maintenance, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities- Service & Maintenance
- Provide electrical and mechanical services for waste compactors and bailers.
- Respond to daily service requests and manage escalations to minimize customer downtime.
- Participate in an on-call rota and responsibly manage company tools, vehicle, and stock.
- Installations
- Perform mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and repair.
- Maintain accurate site documentation including diaries and delivery records.
- Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in field service or mechanical engineering.
- Strong mechanical/electronic fault-finding skills.
- Experience with waste compactors & bailers (desirable).
- Valid certifications: Electrical qualifications, or relevant experience.
- Mechanical qualifications or relevant experience.
- Personal Attributes
- Organised, professional, and customer-focused.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.
- Home-based with regular travel to customer sites.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
