Field Service Engineers β Heavy Mechanical equipment
Locations: Southeast England β Ideally based in Slough, Oxford, Reading, Luton or surrounding areas
Salary: ΓΒ£35,000 β ΓΒ£42,000 per annum
On-Target Earnings (OTE): ΓΒ£45,000 + Door-to-Door paid travel
Are you a skilled Service Technician with a strong electrical or mechanical background? Do you enjoy working on a wide range of equipment and delivering high-quality service? We\βre recruiting experienced engineers to join a market-leading manufacturer whose service team is renowned for supporting household-name clients with fault-finding, repairs, maintenance, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical and mechanical support, prodominantly on dock levellers and specialist loading bay equipment.
- Assist with installations when necessary
- Participate in an occasional on-call rota and responsibly manage company tools, vehicle, and stock
- Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise sales department of possible sales leads
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in field service or other relevant electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with lifting equipment or similiar (desirable)
- Welding experience (desirable)
- Valid certifications:
- Electrical qualifications, or relevant experience
- Mechanical qualifications or relevant experience
