Up to £50,000 Basic + OT + Expenses
Overnight Stays Required

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join a globally recognised CNC machinery manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer who enjoys travel and variety in their work, with the security of a well-established and supportive employer.

The Role
As a key member of the field service team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to clients across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

• Attending customer sites for installation, service, repair, and breakdown support of CNC machine tools

• Troubleshooting and fault finding across both electrical and mechanical systems

• Providing technical support and advice to customers on-site

• Working closely with the Service Manager and engineering team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction

About You
We're looking for an engineer with a solid foundation in both mechanical and electrical disciplines, ideally with experience in the CNC or machine tools sector.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous field service experience within a similar environment

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

• Relevant engineering qualifications

• Experience with Siemens or Fanuc CNC control systems

• PLC knowledge – desirable but not essential

• A proactive attitude and willingness to travel and stay away when required
