Roles and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of new or modified parts from initial design or customer drawings through to full production release, ensuring a smooth handover into manufacturing.
- Assess feasibility at an early stage, identifying potential manufacturability issues while defining materials, tooling, fixtures, and process requirements.
- Create and maintain all technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering records, while supporting the design and validation of tooling solutions.
- Lead first-off trials and ISIR submissions, support production launch activities, and manage engineering changes to ensure quality and compliance throughout.
Requirements:
- Timeserved Experience as a Development/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer.
- Good to Excellent CAD skills ideally on Solidworks.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Experience producing engineering documentation.
- Shop floor machine usage and knowledge is desirable.
