12hr Panama Style Shift Rota (6-6) - Every Sunday Off! South Essex - River Thames. Commutable from Dagenham, Barking, Rainham, Romford, Basildon, Brentwood, Grays. £50,000 (Salary increases to £56,000 with training plan).

Our client is a leading food processing & packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality, which is second to none and industry leading standards. They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer, electrically biased to join their team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production & packaging machinery
- Carry out PPM's, reactive maintenance & project work
- Working on conveyors, robotics, high-speed food production lines, packaging machinery
- Mechanical - gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drives, pneumatics, pumps, valves
- Electrical - control panels, motors, sensors, contactors, relays
- PLC - electrical fault finding
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Ideally be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - electrically biased
- Flexible to work call out rota on some Sunday day times - paid retainer and enhanced wage rate
- PLC - electrical fault finding
- Have worked in some form of manufacturing environment
- NVQ Level 3 engineering or higher
- Ideally have completed a time-served apprenticeship
- 18th Edition beneficial
- Previously worked on high-speed production & packaging machinery
- Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & diagnostics experience
- Knowledge of BRC or HACCP would be beneficial
