A well‑established manufacturing business is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support plant and equipment performance across a high‑volume production facility. This is a hands‑on shift‑based role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys a varied workload, fault‑finding under pressure and maintaining high engineering and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and support continuous production
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks in line with site schedule and priorities
  • Record work completed, parts used and maintenance activity accurately
  • Maintain safe working practices and comply with food safety and health & safety standards

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Time‑served apprenticeship with electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3, HNC desirable)
  • Proven fault‑finding ability across electrical and mechanical plant
  • Previous experience working with a PPM system
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
