Overview
Electro Mechanical Fitter – Telford. Competitive salary (please get in touch for a confidential discussion). Excellent internal training and development opportunities. Monday to Friday with an early finish on Friday! Overtime, Pension, Life Assurance, Sick Pay Scheme, 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday. A growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join the team at their state of the art manufacturing facility. This role will involve the assembly, testing & commissioning of capital machinery being supplied into key industries. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Manufacturing/assembly environment. This opportunity offers technical development & clear progression routes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the production team in building machinery to specification
- Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
- Ensure that production targets are met safely and efficiently within the working environment
- Work cross functionally with design and technical teams, on build issues, to produce a superior product.
- Actively assist in continuous improvement and standardisation projects and processes
Skills and Qualifications
- Apprenticeship in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- Experience using Electro-Mechanical Engineering processes in assembly and fitting
- Strong experience working in a manufacturing/assembly environment
- Ability to reading and working to engineering drawings
