Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer, part of a larger national group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to a recent investment, they are looking to bring onboard additional electrical maintenance engineers into their team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPM's, and repairs
- Working on a variety of high-speed production & packaging machinery, conveyors, automation & controls and plant machinery
- Dealing with PLCs, AC invertors, Servo Drive systems, DC drives
- Work to PM schedule, monitor machine performance (OEE), downtime and analysis for performance improvement
- Coach and support operators to develop their skills
- Utilise software (Maximo) to record reactive and preventative maintenance
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must be an electrically biased maintenance engineer or electrical engineer
- Have worked in a fast paced engineering environment
- Be comfortable with working on mechanical or electrical problems / faults
- Ideally have some mechanical experience
- Have a HND qualification. 18th Edition would be desirable
- Strong team player with a positive, hardworking, willingness to learn attitude
