The role
Our client is a globally recognized, industry-leading manufacturer situated in Telford, who has a superb opportunity for a skilled Design Engineer to join their Technical Department.

What you\’ll be doing
- Supporting the design and development of automated machinery, equipment and component parts
- Redesigning the configuration of existing equipment to improve functionality, reliability and longevity
- Developing proposals and solutions to optimise the quality of production output
- Supporting the drafting of Technical Manuals in line with agreed company standards
- Ensuring equipment, parts and other materials are ordered in a cost-effective, responsible and auditable manner
- Ensuring quality standards, including ISO9001 & 1SO14001, are maintained
- Ensuring all project work is undertaken in a safe, responsible and timely manner, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and completion deadlines
What you\’ll need
- A minimum of an HNC or Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient with Autodesk (essential)
- Time-served within a manufacturing background (FMCG or similar is highly desirable)
