Do you want to work for a leading poultry processing manufacturer, part of a multi-national UK group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards? Due to growth within the engineering team, they are looking for a days based shift engineer.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out PPM, reactive & predictive maintenance/breakdown analysis
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs & PPM's
- Working on various high-speed food production lines, processing & packaging machinery
- Site services & facilities maintenance
- Support project work and continuous improvement activities
- PLC & control panels - electrical fault finding & repairs
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must be a multi-skilled engineer - electrically biased
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineering
- Be a problem solver, approachable, with good prioritisation skills
- Able to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficiently
- Both electrical & mechanical fault-finding capabilities
- Need to be comfortable working in poultry processing & production facility
- Ideally have worked in food, FMCG, industrial fast-paced manufacturing
