Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliability
- Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer's plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively
- Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools & 5S
- Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems
- Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Formal Engineering Qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
- Continuous improvement knowledge
- Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
- Experience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environments
Benefits Package:
£51,000 - £54,000 + Bonus scheme
