Company Overview: A well-known food manufacturer in the Coventry area is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience in welding techniques to maintain their automated production lines.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned maintenance as per the scheduled program.
- Responding promptly to equipment failures to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Servicing and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and process machinery.
- Supporting production staff with basic machine upkeep and troubleshooting.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical maintenance experience in automated environments
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Fast-paced production experience
- PLC troubleshooting expertise
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- NVQ/apprenticeship desirable
