I'm working on a rare opportunity with a business in Corby that has a very low staff turnover and a strong PPM schedule in place to reduce reactive breakdowns and increase machinery performance and efficiency. Working alongside a team, this role will provide variety as well as structure.
Roles/Responsibilities:- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on a weekly basis
- Provide mechanical and/or electrical fault finding and repair on production/processing machinery
- Support production by ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently
- Undertake general site maintenance and first-line repairs
- Liaise with external contractors for specialist or major repair work when required
- Maintain and repair Lamination lines, wrappers, moulding machinery, peelers, granulators, shredders, splicers and baggers.
- A multiskilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
- A recognized engineering qualification
- Experience in an industrial sector
- Availability to work night shifts
