Working across demanding industrial environments, the role offers a strong mix of on-site commissioning and fault finding alongside workshop build, testing, and preparation work.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on electrical service across cranes, ports, and heavy industrial sites, with a mix of on-site and workshop work.
  • Commission, fault-find, and carry out modifications on industrial electrical systems, drives, motors, and associated components.
  • Perform installations including cabling, glanding, terminations, and control panel mounting.
  • Build, wire, and test control panels from drawings, while supporting workshop preparation and testing activities.
  • Work safely to RAMS and site procedures, supporting minor drawing updates and collaborating with PLC engineers.

Requirements:

  • Time served electrical apprenticeship and qualifications.
  • Strong hands-on industrial electrical experience.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK.
  • Experience with PLC systems, isolators, drives, motors.
