Roles & Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate programming software to create programs for the punch and water jet machine
- Assist in the resolution of manufacturing problems arising from the design
- Ensure that manufacturing drawings and programmers are issued and controlled according to the requirements of ISO9001
- Use POM/Vault files to facilitate designs
- Amend job descriptions in the EPICOR manufacturing system
- Ensuring product quality exceeds customer expectations and costs are controlled within budget.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
- Good general IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A good problem solver
- Practical experience in a similar role
- Experience of CNC programming using tools such as Radan, Lantech, E-Coder
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
