A well-established supplier within the building services sector is seeking to expand its Sales team in South Wales. The business has built a strong reputation over many years for reliability, technical expertise, and a practical, customer-first approach, supporting a loyal base of engineers, contractors, and industrial clients. As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing the existing customer base as well as finding new business opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing accounts through the SMARS customer system
  • Develop lasting relationships with customers to build prosperous business ties
  • Working closely with the external sales team to pinpoint and implement specific strategy to achieve sales targets
  • New business winning
  • Quoting new and existing customers with competitive pricing and technical support
  • Liaising with suppliers to improve our offering and increase our margin
  • Proactive new business winning along with careful market research into further opportunities for the business

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an Internal Sales / Technical Sales / Sales Engineer related position
  • A background within an engineering related business or building services related industry
  • The person will need to be proactive, tenacious and have a strong desire to learn.
