With Operations across the globe and with an ever expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer are planning the next part of their recruitment push in the Maintenance team. Following their recent investment they are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join and lead their well-established maintenance team. The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers brilliant stability as well as excellent progressional routes. Internal and external training courses are provided to further develop your skills and career depending on the route you'd like to go within this National business. It's the first step from Engineer into Management, taking a Senior Maintenance Engineer off the tools and into a more managerial position overseeing the team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Foresee that all the activities needed to maintain equipment are being executed and with a high quality, focus on preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Detect deviations in the performance of the plant's asset function in time.
- Ensure the safe, efficient and quality execution of routine maintenance work on a daily basis, through detailed job preparation with the Engineer of the area.
- Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and encourage standardization.
- Inspect equipment and facilities on random or scheduled daily tours in order to detect anomalies.
- Provide support to Maintenance teams in the diagnosis and problem solving.
- Guarantee the quality of external repair services, spare parts or equipment, inspecting the equipment at the supplier or upon arrival at the warehouse.
- Coordinate contractors scheduled jobs and monitor the quality of tasks being carried out.
- Use predictive maintenance techniques, when appropriate, for the management of equipment and components.
- Review and analyse plant information (SAP + Shift Reports + Alarms Systems).
- Provide detailed work orders that ensure the safe and efficient execution of all maintenance work.
- Keep the asset documents and drawings updated and in order, in the locations where their use is required. In the same way, update and keep organized the information that is on-line.
- Provide support to Engineering and Production team with the preparation of the work plans to achieve the highest efficiency and quality of the maintenance groups.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Degree Qualified /or a highly proactive and experienced Maintenance/Team Leader.
- Strong Mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and tools associated with troubleshooting.
- In depth knowledge and experience in current plant equipment.
- Knowledge of tools and techniques related to predictive and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal and external departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and find solutions in a short period of time.
