Roles/Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical & mechanical maintenance to maximize plant uptime, including fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose faults across PLCs, drives and production equipment, implementing effective root cause fixes
- Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly
- Support continuous improvement, machine upgrades, and reliability projects across site
- Work closely with production, contractors and suppliers to maintain safety, quality and performance standards
What we're looking for
- Time-served maintenance engineer with a recognised Level 3 qualification (NVQ/HNC or equivalent) in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering
- Strong electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Confident fault finding on electrical systems, with working knowledge of PLCs and industrial drives
- Able to work independently, prioritise workload, and respond effectively to breakdown situations
- Proactive, safety-conscious approach with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement
