CAD DESIGN TECHNICIAN BRISTOL £35,000 – £38,000 + BONUS + TRAINING + BENEFITS Due to ongoing success and company expansion, my client are looking to add to their skilled design team with the addition of a CAD designer. We are looking for a talented CAD Design Technician. If you’re a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on a variety of interesting projects, spanning several sectors such as; Automotive, Defence and FMCG. THE ROLE: Producing high quality designs – 2D & 3D. Participating in design meetings, providing valuable input and recommendations. Producing designs for installation purposes. Look at existing process’s and identify improvements. Coordinating design requirements with customers and suppliers. THE PERSON: Experience using AutoCAD. Ability to design for manufacture and assembly. The ability to read and produce 2D and 3D production drawings. Problem solving and trouble shooting ability. Ideally possess an Engineering Degree, Minimum HNC.
