We're seeking an ambitious Senior Buyer to join a leading high-tech manufacturer in Bristol, with global reach. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a globally respected business, managing key supplier relationships, driving purchasing performance and ensuring critical materials and components are delivered to support the development of industry-leading products.
The Role:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition through to purchase order placement.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate orders in line with operational requirements.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier-related issues.
- Manage return-to-vendor activities and supplier non-conformance processes.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience within an Engineering or Production Environment.
- Track record as a Buyer.
- CIPS level 4 qualified or similar Purchasing Qualification.
- HNC/HND in Engineering or Manufacturing Discipline.
- Good ability with managing conflicting priorities.
Shifts: Day Based - Please note this is a 12 month FTC - strong likelihood of going perm.
