A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Manager for a company in the Bridgwater area. With no day ever being the same, the Senior Quality Manager role offers an opportunity to perform as part of the senior leadership team and offers career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve quality systems, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards
- Standardise production processes and lead risk assessments
- Partner with operations to resolve quality issues and train staff
- Lead investigations into quality incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Represent the customer, ensuring feedback and complaints are addressed promptly
- Drive continuous improvement using data and quality initiatives
- Prepare and present quality KPIs and reports, maintaining accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proven production quality management experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001, and regulatory compliance
- Experience leading teams and cross-functional risk management
- Track record of system and process improvements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Effective communicator and collaborator with operations teams
- Skilled in incident management and corrective actions
- Experience in high-care sectors (e.g., food, medical) desirable
- Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline
