Role & Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency and quality.
- Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support the introduction of new products into production.
- Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
- Provide video analysis of best working practices, analysis that operators on the shop floor can follow and adhere to.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field would be a bonus.
- Proven experience working as a Production / Manufacturing / Process Engineer in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
- Ability to provide training and development for operators on the shop floor, input working practices to be followed and adhered to.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
