This is a great opportunity for a Product Manager to join a well-established business who have recently won new contracts and are looking to expand their product into new markets. This role would be well suited to an experienced Product Manager who has experience of working in a fast-paced environment, working with sales, engineering and marketing. This is a business who are part of a larger group, so can offer excellent long-term professional and career development opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Negotiate
- Deliver internal/external product and process training, maintain training materials, and provide technical and commercial support to the sales organisation.
- Drive innovation by identifying product gaps, managing the innovation funnel.
- Lead product development and launches, working with marketing on positioning, messaging, materials, and supporting exhibitions, tenders, and bids.
- Monitor markets, competitors, customer standards, profitability, pricing, and margin opportunities, maintaining a strong competitor and market insight database.
- Manage field trials and feedback, communicate product value and benefits, produce initial case studies/technical content, and support technical accuracy of the price list.
Requirements:
- Understanding of an engineering-based product within a manufacturing setting.
- Commercial aptitude and ideally experience within a product manager function.
- 5-10+ years experience - need someone who can hit the ground running.
- Solid experience and knowledge in Project Management Marketing and communication methodologies and tools.
